Like Unlike It’s quite nice on a sunny day like today to see a clear blue sky without any contrails. The closing of the airspace now has a certain charm to it..
btw: some great volcano pics can be found here: icelands disruptive volcano 1 person likes this [...] Today it’s WWF’s ‘earth hour’ day, an initiative that requires you to turn of the lights for an hour at Coincidental, it is also the national day of sleep in the Netherlands. So I’d say, let’s combine the two! Sounds like a solid plan to me.. At 8.30 pm, every person in the Netherlands should turn off all the lights, the television, computers etc and take an one hour nap. If everyone cooperates, and we can also turn off the streetlighting, landmarks, businesses-lights and that sort of things, it’s gonna be one hell of a nap. Complete darkness is one of the necessities to be well rested after your nap. Plus, naps are good to reduce stress, clear your head and to improve your productivity and mood. Does anyone else see the Win-Win situation here? Last friday the 6th edition of 3fm Serious Request started again! Three dj’s of our national radio station 3fm were locked into a glass house by princess Maxima (who actually used the word ‘cool’ when describing this yearly event). These dj’s will stay in this house [...] This year the start of La Vuela a España was in Holland. It started with the prologue at the TT-circuit in Assen yesterday, and today the first stage from Assen to Emmen. We missed the prologue because of the Harlingen Fishery Days, (unfortunately no pictures of that, I was a bit too [...] This year we are celebrating the 200th anniversary of his birth and the 150th anniversary of the publication of the Origin of Species!
