I was paying my parents a visit recently and my mother gave me a booklet. It was not an ordinary booklet. Nooo, it was an exercise book I used at primary school. I guess you can say that I was into certain things at a very young age already.

Problem is however that my bed is quite high and it’s [...] Last week I saw the movie “Broken Flowers” and I love everything about it. The music is insanely good, gotta love legend Bill Murray and his Ethiopian neighbour Winston. Yeap, my recommendation of the month.

Unlike Today it’s WWF’s ‘earth hour’ day, an initiative that requires you to turn of the lights for an hour at Coincidental, it is also the national day of sleep in the Netherlands. So I’d say, let’s combine the two! Sounds like a solid plan to me.. At 8.30 pm, every person in the Netherlands should turn off all the lights, the television, computers etc and take an one hour nap. If everyone cooperates, and we can also turn off the streetlighting, landmarks, businesses-lights and that sort of things, it’s gonna be one hell of a nap. Complete darkness is one of the necessities to be well rested after your nap. Plus, naps are good to reduce stress, clear your head and to improve your productivity and mood. Does anyone else see the Win-Win situation here? To read a little bit more about napping click here: As usual I was sitting in my window sill relaxing a bit, when I looked down just in time to see a lesser kestrel dive down to try to catch one of the sparrows which are always hanging out in the shrubs downstairs. Luckily for the sparrows and unfortunately for the kestrel (and me) [...] Ok, I don’t live in the UK, but it’s quite close to the Netherlands so this does sound promising. Check the summer forecast by Positive Weather Solutions, a small weather forecast company with accurate predictions over the last two years. The PWS forecast is: JUNE: Starts with fine weather. Rain mid-month but temperatures [...] Ever receive messages that are just too difficult to decipher? Weird spelling, capital letters in unusual places, non existing words.. Thinks it’s annoying as well? Well, if the sender understands Spanish, just send him/her this image.. Not sure if it’ll work against the messages but at least it’s a bit funny! 1 [...] According to the Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute today will be the warmest day in four months. You cannot imagine how much I needed this. I’m not made for the Dutch climate. Some people are born in the wrong body, I think I was born in the wrong country..
